Peanut Butter and Jam Session Sounds Like This

It's -49 with windchill this morning, so school is canceled, but here's something to warm you up.

What fun we can have with two guitars and a ukelele!

What a Busy Week!

It's been a fun one!

We finished the week off strong, with a great game of floor hockey.

The Student Council held a bake sale on Thursday evening to raise money for their activities. We had lots of delicious goods for sale.

Also on Thursday evening, Emily led an introduction to plaster mask-making. We started with making molds of our hands. Masks are next!

Students have been enjoying the guitars and ukeleles this week. We had Dustin and Liz visit from Youth Fusion Ouje Bougoumou on Tuesday and Dustin led a stellar jam session in the library. Listen for a recording of it on the radio show next Tuesday!

It's been a while since we had free time to update about the photos that students are still taking, but good things are worth waiting for, they should be up next week! In the meantime, enjoy a look at Student Council's Pajama Day last Friday. So comfy!

Happy New Year!

Emily and Annik are back in Waswanipi and activities have already begun! We are lucky to start the year off with two visitors from the main Youth Fusion office: Alanah Heffez, the Northern Regional Coordinator and Tristan Brand, Youth Fusion's professional photographer.

Tristan led a workshop for our local photographers and we all ventured out into the glorious evening to practice the photo-storytelling skills we'd just learned.

The sky was amazing yesterday- here are a few interpretations of the afternoon.
